CHALLENGE:
Wilshire Boulevard Temple of Los Angeles was holding a gala to honor their beloved rabbi who is retiring after 37 years of service. They wanted a beautiful tribute book that would live beyond just the night of the gala.
Wilshire Boulevard Temple of Los Angeles was holding a gala to honor their beloved rabbi who is retiring after 37 years of service. They wanted a beautiful tribute book that would live beyond just the night of the gala.
SOLUTION:
The tribute book design was inspired by the beautiful temple building. When I saw the gorgeous photograph of the temple at golden hour, I knew that had to be the cover photo and designed an elegant lockup that is featured along side it. The rest of the book came easily as I paired complimentary fonts together to give each page hierarchical elements. I continued to use photography of the temple to capture the many details of the stunning building in this tribute book.
